EB NEURO-MEDEV joins 9th Asian & Oceanian Epilepsy Congress

EBNEURO S.p.A., in coordination with MEDEV Medical Devices Corporation, sole distributor of EBNEURO products in the country, participated in the 9th Asian & Oceanian Epilepsy Congress held at the held at SMX Convention Center in Mall of Asia Complex, Pasay City last March 22-25, 2012.
Mr. Giacomo Granozio, International Sales Supervisor and Mr. Roberto Terruzi, Director of Sales, EBNEURO, together with Ms. Noli Rose Cagampan, Sales Manager, MEDEV Medical Devices Corporation, attended the EBNEURO booth during the congress exhibition.
Before the three-day event kicks off, EBNEURO provided product training among the sales team of MEDEV which was facilitated by Mr. Granozio, and Mr. Terruzi. They also introduced their latest innovation, the BE Micro, a compact and light weight EEG device that can perform both conventional and ambulatory EEG monitoring.
The 9th Asian & Oceanian Epilepsy Congress was organised jointly by the regional associations of the International League Against Epilepsy (ILAE) and the International Bureau for Epilepsy (IBE).
MEDEV unveils Radiology Solutions at 64th PCR Annual Convention
New and innovative technologies was showcased by MEDEV Medical Devices Corporation at the recently concluded Philippine College of Radiology 64th Annual Convention, which is the biggest gathering of radiologists in the country, held at SMX Convention Center in Mall of Asia Complex, Pasay City last February 16-18, 2012.
The MEDEV booth draws out a curious crowd because of innovative solutions designed to deliver high quality diagnostic performances ranging from advanced software features to premium and dedicated machines.
Highlighted in the exhibit was ESAOTE MyLab ClassC, a premium ultrasound system which features Virtual Navigator, an advanced fusion imaging technology, by using a combination of two different imaging modalities (real-time ultrasound scanning and static imaging such as CT or MR images) it helps physicians during interventional procedures reach a desired target with precision and accuracy. Meanwhile, the ESAOTE Mylab Touch, whipped a buzz among the convention delegates. They were amazed to see an ultrasound machine with a tablet-like feature such as a beautifully designed form factor and a flat touch screen but still retaining the full capabilities of a portable ultrasound machine.

September 23, 2011 - More than six hundred echo sonologists and echo sonographers had a chance to take a glimpse at the MyLab™ Class C, one of the best in class 2D-Echo system offered by ESAOTE, that was put on display during the Philippine Society of Echocardiography (PSE) 17th Annual Convention held at DAPA Hall, Medical Arts Building, Philippine Heart Center, Quezon City last September 19-20, 2011.

The PSE 17th Annual Convention is a two day gathering of echo sonologists and echo sonographers in the country, organized by the Philippine Society of Echocardiography (PSE) in collaboration with the Philippine Heart Association (PHA).

MEDEV Presents Esaote MyLab at UST Annual Musculoskeletal Ultrasound Workshop
August 2, 2011 – MEDEV Medical Devices Corporation, distributor of high quality ultrasound equipment served as an event partner of the recently concluded 5th Annual Postgraduate Course on Musculoskeletal Ultrasonography with the theme “Musculoskeletal Ultrasound Workshop: Intermediate Course… A Continuum.” held last July 20-26, 2011 at the Bulwagan Rogge, UST Graduate School, University of Santo Tomas, Manila.
MEDEV provided some of its high quality ultrasound systems, the ESAOTE MyLab 40 and MyLab Five for exhibit and live demonstration in musculoskeletal applications. Attendees were mostly rheumatologists and orthopaedic surgeons, as well as some radiologists. Also, featured in the event is a general presentation of the systems and live demonstrations on 2D-Echocardiography and Peripheral Vascular Imaging using the MyLab Five portable color ultrasound, shown to the department heads of the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery.

The event was spearheaded by the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine of the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery of University of Santo Tomas.
